Jeff Mejia (37), is entering his fiftth season at Suffolk. Jeff has been coaching baseball for 12 years. His years of coaching have been divided between College, Semi-professional and Amateur Athletic Union. At Suffolk, Jeff’s main focus is working with the infield, which in 2009 led the Great Northeast Athletic Conference in fielding percentage (.958). He played collegiate baseball at San Jose City College in California and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Salem State College in Sports Fitness and Leisure Studies with a concentration in Coaching and a minor in Biology. Jeff serves as the Summer Camp Director for the Boston Jr. Rams and is the Assistant Camp Director for the US Sports Nike Baseball Camp.
Jeff is married and has two children and is currently teaching High
School Anatomy and Physiology for the Peabody Public School System.
Jeff was a proud member of the United States Army and served in
Operation Desert Storm.
