CNE RELEASE | 2025 FALL ACADEMIC ALL-CNE TEAM
BEVERLY, Mass. – Suffolk had 73 Rams featured among the 937 student-athletes that achieved Conference of New England (CNE) Fall All-Academic Team distinction, the league office announced Wednesday.
To be recognized as a member of the CNE Academic All-Conference Team, a student-athlete must have a cumulative GPA of at least a 3.3 (on a 4.0 scale) and must also have attained sophomore status (year two) at their current institution. Graduate transfers, regardless of enrollment at their current institution, are eligible.
Suffolk's 73 student-athletes represent the blue-and-gold's men's and women's cross country, men's and women's golf, men's and women's soccer, women's tennis and women's volleyball teams, while the conference's fall recognition also spans field hockey and football.
The 73 individuals from Suffolk tied for fifth-most institution wise. Endicott topped the list with 153 followed by the University of New England (98), Western New England (84) and Hartford (74). Johnson & Wales and Nichols had 73 student-athletes earn the feat as well. For the complete 2025 CNE Fall All-Academic Team, click here.
When broken down by sport, Suffolk's women's soccer squad led the way with 20 honorees. Men's soccer and women's cross country had double digit recipients as well with 17 and 11, respectively. Women's volleyball (8), women's tennis (5), men's cross country (4), men's golf (4) and women's golf (4) had student-athletes earn a place on the list as well.
