BOSTON – Days after returning from its Spring Training trip, Suffolk baseball is set to lift the lid on its 2026 home calendar as Rivier stops by East Boston Memorial Park Tuesday, March 17 for a 3:30 p.m. first pitch.

Suffolk baseball could not hold onto its early lead and St. Scholastica came back to handle the Rams, 12-3, in the blue-and-gold's final outing of the RussMatt Central Florida Invitational at the NERP Complex.

RAMS RUNDOWN
- Suffolk has yet to find the win column this season, 0-7.
- Jack Mihalchik has been the hottest at the plate with eight hits, including one triple, on a .348 batting average with three RBI and three runs scored to go along with two stolen bases.
- Cole Hilliard has supplied seven hits, three runs scored, two RBI and one stolen bases.
- Sam Armbruster and Luke Thornton complete the top four bats in the blue-and-gold's lineup with six hits each. Armbruster has four extra-base knocks evenly divided between doubles (2) and triples (2) with a team-best five RBI and three runs scored. Thornton, meanwhile, sports one double and one triple, with a squad-high four runs scored and two RBI.
- Suffolk's staff should be well-rested this week with all starters available. Colin McNeal will likely get the nod Tuesday. He has one outing under his belt with 5.0 innings of work and one strikeout.
RAIDERS REVIEW
- Rivier brings a 2-6 record into Beantown after its trip to The Ripken Experience in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
- Nathan Innerfield and Sebastien Reis have produced more than 10 hits apiece to anchor the Raiders plate production. Innerfield holds a team-bets 12 hits with three doubles behind a .414 batting average with six RBI and four runs scored. Reis, meanwhile, sists at 11 hits on a .407 connection rate at the plate with four runs scored and thee RBI.
- Liam Stott has added eight hits, seven RBI and three runs scored.
- Tuesday starts a six-game week for the Raiders and although their pitching staff should be well-rested, it's likely that usual starters will be saved towards the tail-end of the week for conference contests.
- Anthony Morro (6.30 ERA, 10.0 IP, 11 K), Nate Bonacorsi (12.79 ERA, 6.1 IP, 4 K), Jake O'Connor (31.91 ERA, 3.2 IP, 1 K), Sean Kulhoff (5.40 ERA, 5.0 IP, 2 K) and John Horgan (19.29 ERA, 2.1 IP, 2 K) have all received a nod this season on the bump.
INSIDE THE SERIES
- Suffolk commands the all-time series with Rivier, 40-6, including eight consecutive wins over the Raiders.
