BOSTON – Suffolk baseball opens a six-game road stretch Thursday, March 19 with a non-conference matchup at WPI with first pitch set for 3:30 p.m.

In a back-and-forth battle, Suffolk baseball had a chance to walk-off to its first win of the season, but came up just shy to Rivier, 12-11, Tuesday afternoon at East Boston Memorial Park.

- Suffolk enters Thursday's matchup at 0-8 on the season.

- Camden Willems and Zachary Roethlein have set the tone at the top of the lineup, as the duo has combined to lead off games. Willems is batting .520 with 13 hits, including six doubles, and seven RBI alongside a .571 on-base percentage, while Roethlein is hitting .462 with 12 hits and eight runs scored.
- Chuck Cappello has produced a .423 average with 11 hits, seven RBI, and adds pressure on the base path with four steals.
- Liam Keblin rounds out the top of the lineup with a .450 average, nine hits, and nine RBI.
- On the mound, WPI has multiple options available with four games over the next four days. Jacob Wiberg (0.00 ERA, 10.0 IP, 11 K), Dominic Monico (2.79 ERA, 9.2 IP, 10 K), and Luke Blandino (2.08 ERA, 8.2 IP, 10 K) are among the potential starters.
