RAPID REWIND
Suffolk was inches away from capturing the Conference of New England (CNE) Championship, but the third-seeded Rams fell short to top-seed Western New England, 75-74. Despite not hoisting the trophy, the league runner-up made the blue-and-gold's record books as the first-ever squad in the program's near-80-year history to produce a 20-win season with a 20-8 overall ledger.

The Rams will have their work cut out to reach the conference championship for the third consecutive campaign as they lost seven players, including four starters, to graduation. Head coach Jeff Juron assembled nearly a brand new squad with nine true freshmen and three transfers to work alongside the five returners highlighted by Nick Verdile(11.4 ppg, 2.6 rpg, 2.1 apg).

RAMS ROOKIES
Suffolk men's basketball will feature a host of new talent in 2025-26, as head coach Jeff Juron welcomes nine freshman and three transfers to the roster.

The group is comprised of nine true freshmen in Connor Crist, James Jones, Ryan Moore, Jordan Morganstein, Max Neelley, Hatcher Nordquist, Marquis White, Aston Whittingham and Abdiel Zapata. Three transfers round out the group in juniors Zach Harvey-Seutcheu and Harrison Neil, who played for Wheaton and RPI, respectively, and sophomore Matt Amarante that brought his talents to Beacon Hill from Lake Forest.

GEOGRAPHY 101
Players from seven states make up the Rams' roster, bringing a diverse mix of experience and backgrounds to the team.

Leading the way is Massachusetts with six players, while Connecticut contributes two. New York, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Florida, and Texas each add one player to the lineup.

CLASS CATEGORIES
Suffolk's roster features one senior, five juniors, two sophomores, and nine freshmen, giving the Rams a blend of experience and youth ready to make an impact.

POSITION PICTURE
The blue-and-gold is led by a strong guard presence, featuring 11 players in the backcourt. Four forwards and one swing player round out the lineup.

RAMS RINGLEADERS
Suffolk men's basketball's head coach Jeff Juron has tabbed the trio of Declan DavisConnor Strickland and Nick Verdile as tri-captains for the 2025-26 season

The blue-and-gold will be led by multiple captains for the second straight season, while the group is the first threesome in the role since Conor Creane '22 '23, William Rowe '22, '23 and Aidan Sullivan '23 shared the role in 2022-23. The group will all begin their first term as the Rams' captains.

The triad has been a part of back-to-back conference championship contest appearances and were critical cogs in the program's first-ever 20-win squad a year ago that went 20-8 overall.
