Brickley Named Men’s Golf Head Coach

BOSTON – Suffolk men's golf will be under new leadership in 2024-25 as Director of Athletics Cary McConnell has unveiled Joshua Brickley will take over the program as head coach.

Brickley brings a decade of golf professional experience to the Rams squad, his first collegiate head coaching role.

"Coaching a college golf team has always been my dream," Brickley said. "Growing up, I witnessed the pure joy my father experienced while coaching and mentoring his players into becoming outstanding individuals, not just athletes. I have always aspired to make a similar impact, and Suffolk University has given me that opportunity. I eagerly anticipate advancing the program and supporting the students in reaching new heights."

Brickley's coaching experience began as a First Assistant and Golf Pro at Meadow Brook Golf Club in Reading, Massachusetts in 2013 where he spent nine years and earned the Director of Instruction title in March 2020.

In March 2015, on top of his responsibilities at Meadow Brook Golf Club, Brickely founded Joshua Brickely Golf Association (JGBA) and was the Co-Founder of Girls on the Tee.

His last and most current golf pro stint is a Senior Class A PGA Professional at Five Iron Goin Boston.

Brickley has done numerous trainings and verification in the golf field including Gofl Complex Operations and Management, Training and Trackman Systems certified in club fitting and repair and Coutour Putting Systems (GAA).
