Men’s Golf Finishes Fourth at Battle at Bulls Bridge

SOUTH KENT, Conn. – Suffolk men's golf compiled a fourth-place finish at the Battle at Bulls Bridge Tuesday at the Bulls Bridge Golf Club.  

The Rams put together a card of 342 (+54) to claim fourth in the six-team field ahead of Westfield State (362) and Nichols (379). Hartford won the event with a 305 (+17), while Wentworth (318) and Albertus Magnus (328) rounded out the podium.  

Senior Trey Connolly and sophomore Michael Gallagher shared 10 as he shot an 81, plus-9 on the par-72, 6,719-yard course. 

Christopher Sinopoli and Mikey Kowalsky tied for 24th as the senior and freshman shot a 90 with the latter making his collegiate debut.

Senior Tyler Anastasi sat in a share of 26th as he was one stroke behind Sinopoli and Kowalsky.  

Suffolk will take the weekend off and close out the fall at the NEIGA Championship Oct. 18-19 at the Captain's Golf Course in Brewster, Massachusetts.
