MANCHESTER, N.H. – Suffolk men's golf capped off its 2026 season with a runner-up finish at the NEC Invitational Sunday at the Derry Field Country Club.
The Rams finished in a three-way tie for first after an 18-hole score of 305 alongside host New England College and Southern Maine. The tiebreaker went to the fifth-place score on the team's cards, which put the Pilgrims first (83), the blue-and-gold second (92) and Huskies (NA) third. Keene State (322) and Vermont State Castleton (339) rounded out the five-team field in fourth and fifth, respectively.
Sophomore Michael Gallagher shared individual medalist honors with Southern Maine's Owen Moore with an even par-70 on the 6,143-yard course.
Freshman Josh Gross tied for sixth as he was five over par alongside NEC's Emil Elias.
Sophomore Perry Gaudreau took ninth behind a 78 (+8).
Seniors Trey Connolly (82) and Tyler Anastasi (92) wrapped up their collegiate careers in a share of 17th and 26th, respectively.
