Freshman Jon Stauffer (Landsdale, Pa.) was named ECAC Northeast Rookie of the Week on November 22. Stauffer scored three goals and added two assists in the Rams' 8-4 victory over Salve Regina on Thursday.

Suffolk tied the NCAA record scoring eight power play goals in the win. Stauffer became the 27th player in NCAA Division-III Men's Hockey history to tally the hat trick with the one man advantage, and was the first player in the New England region to do so since the 2000-01 season.

Thus far in the season, the freshman defenseman leads all Suffolk skaters in points with six and is tied for the team lead in goals with three through six games.
