Suffolk men’s hockey returned to the win column Friday night as Rams took down Western New England, 4-1, at Louis E. Porrazzo Memorial Skating Rink. Peter Nugent’s career-high two-goal night led the winning effort in an outing that Suffolk donned gray-and-white camo sweaters to recognized and honor past, present and future members of the military.
Less than 24 hours after the Rams took down the Leopards in overtime, 2-1, at Porrazzo Rink, Suffolk men’s hockey did it again as Ryan Webb’s goal at 2:54 in the extra session Saturday afternoon lifted the blue-and-gold to the Commonwealth Coast Conference victory by an identical score at Allied Veterans Memorial Rink.
