AHCA RELEASE | KRAMPADE DIVISION II-III ALL-AMERICAN SCHOLARS
BOSTON – Suffolk men's ice hockey had 16 players honored as Krampade All-American Scholars by the American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) for the 2024-25 season, the national organization unveiled.
Ryan Webb earned a spot on the list for the third straight season, while CJ Hapward and Will MacNeil secured selections for the second consecutive campaign. Max Banoun, Tyler Borys, Thomas Dempsey, Evan England, Kannon Flageolle, Michael Gallagher, Nolan Leonard, Nick Liotino, Michael McEachern, Daniel McKiernan, Josh Milso, Jack Robinson and Tommy Whitford picked up the feat for the first time.
To qualify, a student-athlete must have attained a 3.75 grade point average for each semester, and had to appear in 40 percent of the team's games. Exceptions were granted to injured players and back-up goaltenders. Schools also were required to be members of the AHCA.
Suffolk's 16 honorees were a part of the 61 Conference of New England (CNE) skaters to garner the accolade for their work inside the classroom. Behind the league-best Rams, Nichols had 15 honorees, while Curry and Western New England saw 10 student-athletes apiece. The University of New England and Endicott were represented by six and fie nods, respectively.

AHCA has been honoring student-athletes with All-American Scholar since 201-167. Suffolk has been featured all nine years since the award's inception. Overall, 46 Rams have combined for 82 AHCA All-American Scholars. Since Shawn McEachern took over the program, 18 student-athletes have garnered the award including a program-best 16 this season.
