Men’s Ice Hockey Secures Nine Krampade All-American Scholars Nods
Men's ice hockey had nine Rams recognized for academics by the AHCA.

BOSTON – Suffolk men's ice hockey had nine players recognized as Krampade All-American Scholars by the American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) for the 2025-26 season, the national organization announced.
Ryan Webb earned a spot on the list for the fourth straight season, while Max Banoun, Nick Liotino, Kannon Flageolle and Michael Gallagher secured selections for the second straight season. Alex Ondos, Owen Hodgett, Tommy Whitford and Aidan O'Connell picked up the feat for the first time.
To qualify, a student-athlete must have attained a 3.75 grade point average for each semester and had to appear in 40 percent of the team's games. Exceptions were granted to injured players and back-up goaltenders. Schools also were required to be members of the AHCA.
Suffolk's nine honorees were 60 Conference of New England (CNE) skaters to garner the accolade for their work inside the classroom. Joining the Rams was Curry (9), Endicott (4), Johnson & Wales (14), Nichols (12) and the University of New England (12).
Overall, 550 student-athletes across Division II-III men took home the accolade. For the full list of honorees, click here.
AHCA has been honoring student-athletes with All-American Scholar since 2016-17. Suffolk has been featured all 10 years since the award's inception. Overall, 51 Rams have combined for 91 AHCA All-American Scholars distinctions. Since Shawn McEachern took over the program, 23 student-athletes have garnered the award.
