Men’s Soccer Unveils 2015 Slate

BOSTON – A number of tough tests await the Suffolk men's soccer team, as the Rams released its 2015 campaign Wednesday afternoon. Suffolk will host eight games at its new home field, East Boston Memorial Park, including four Great Northeast Athletic Conference contests.
For the first time since 2012, the Rams kick off its 2015 slate on home turf as they host 2014 NCAA participant Husson Sept. 1.
Following a road game at interstate rival Pine Manor Sept. 5, Suffolk hosts Salve Regina (Sept. 10) and opens GNAC play at home versus Mount Ida Sept. 12.
Continuing into mid-September, the Rams visit Lesley (Sept. 14) and Regis (Sept. 17). Suffolk returns to the confines of East Boston to close out the first month of action as it entertains Lasell (Sept. 19) and Norwich (Sept. 26).
The Rams will make the trek out to western Massachusetts the first weekend of October for a showdown with the Cats of Anna Maria (Oct. 3). Four days later, the squad steps out of conference action and hosts Boston foe Emerson in a mid-week matchup.
Suffolk embarks on a three-game road swing that features St. Joseph's (Maine) (Oct. 10), Johnson & Wales (Oct. 12) and Rivier (Oct. 17).
A date with Springfield in Eastie is on the calendar for Oct. 19, followed by a Senior Day contest versus Albertus Magnus two days later.
The 2015 campaign ends on the road, as Suffolk remains in Boston Oct. 24 for a bout at Emmanuel, before traveling to UMass Dartmouth (Oct. 27).
