BOSTON – Suffolk men's soccer begins its Conference of New England (CNE) slate on Saturday, Sept. 13, traveling to Hartford for a 5:00 p.m. kickoff at Al-Marzook Field at Alumni Stadium.

LAST TIME OUT
In a Title Town Tuesday tilt, Suffolk men's soccer came to a 2-2 draw against its Beantown rival Emmanuel at Roberto Clemente Field. The Rams took a two-goal lead before the Saints scored two unanswered for the stalemate.

SUFFOLK SCORES
RAMS RUNDOWN
- Suffolk sits at 1-1-2 on the year following the crosstown battle against Emmanuel that resulted in a 2-2 draw.
- Zach Vlachos is responsible for nearly half of the Rams five goals with two to his credit.
- Mohamed Mehaya is right underneath Vlachos on the Rams' stat sheet with three points on one goal and one assist.
- Javen Ironside and Ford Lee have tallied one goal apiece.
- Diego Pierantozzi, Francisco Valck, Oliver Heth, and Christian Gardner, have all tallied one assist.
- Ian Caldwell has handled all four starts in net, compiling a 1.25 goals against average with six saves.
SUFFOLK IN CNE DEBUTS
- Suffolk is 2-0-2 in its first CNE game of the season.
- A year ago, the Rams played to a 1-1 tie at Gordon in game one of its conference calendar.
- Suffolk is in the hunt to lift the lid on its league schedule with a win for the first time since it blanked Wentworth, 4-0, Sept. 15, 2023.
- On the road, the Rams sport a 0-0-2 league-opener ledger.
- The blue-and-gold will face Gordon in its first CNE game of the year for the second time, first since 2021.
- Two CNE openers in the Rams record book have been decided via shutout, Suffolk's inaugural tilt, a 1-0 victory over Gordon in 2021, and 2023's debut, 4-0 cleansheet over Wentworth.
- There have been a pair of draws in Suffolk's CNE opener, both of which were 1-1 stalemates.
- The blue-and-gold last began its conference season with a draw a year ago with a 1-1 tie at Gordon.
- Suffolk will tangle with Hartford in game one of. Its league schedule for the first time.
HAWKS HIGHLIGHT
- Hartford enters the CNE opener unbeaten with a 2-0-1 mark, previously besting Mitchell, 2-1.
- The Hawks six goals have come off six different boots in David Czubat, Jaiden Daigle, Jack Merrill, Joe Ofori-Mintah, Brayden Tahiliani, and Cameron Tedesco.
- Austin Murawski and Nick Castrovinci have chipped in one assist apiece to round out the offensive contributors.
- Between the pipes, Ryan Lunn has started two contests, sporting a 0.50 goals against average and one shutout.
INSIDE THE SERIES
- Suffolk and Hartford will meet for the third time since the series began in 2023.
- The Ram are a perfect 2-0-0 against the Hawks, with both victories coming under Bill Maddock.
- The series has been split between home (1-0) and road (1-0) bouts.
- The Rams will play Hartford on the road for the first time since 2023, a 2-1 blue-and-gold triumph, Sept. 30, 2023.

RAMFEST
All members of Ram Nation are invited by Suffolk University to East Boston Memorial Park Saturday, Sept. 27 for RamFest.
RamFest is part of Suffolk Weekend, which brings together the entire University community. The weekend is the perfect opportunity for members of the Suffolk community and their families to reconnect or get acclimated with Suffolk, reminisce with old friends, make new ones and enjoy beautiful Boston in the fall. Following Rammy's Fun Run, the family friendly fan fest festivities begin at 11:30 a.m. An afternoon of community, entertainment and school spirit is in store. Event highlights include:
- A variety of food trucks with local favorites
- Live performances by Suffolk University's house band The Common
- Men's and Women's Soccer Games – support the Rams on their Senior Days!
- Cornhole Tournament – register with a teammate to or get paired day-of
- Axe Throwing and Gladiator Joust for some friendly competition
- Yard games and airbrush pennants to round out the fun
Tickets are required to participate in RamFest and grants you access to food trucks and activities at the fields throughout the afternoon. Alumni, family and friends can purchase their $20 tickets here. Students are free but must register here. Admission to the Rams' soccer Conference of New England (CNE) doubleheader versus Curry is free.

SUFFOLK'S SCHEDULE
The Rams return home to James A. Sartori Field at East Boston Memorial Park on Tuesday, Sept 16, when they host Mass. Maritime in a 7:00 p.m. kickoff.
