Men’s Soccer Silenced at Endicott, 2-0

BEVERLY, Mass. – Suffolk men's soccer dropped a 2-0 Conference Of England (CNE) contest to Endicott Saturday night at Hempstead Stadium.

THE BASICS
SCORE: Suffolk 0 | Endicott 2
RECORDS: Suffolk (3-2-2, 1-1-0 CNE) | Endicott (4-2-0, 2-1-0 CNE)

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • After a scoreless first half, Endicott broke through just over 10 minutes into the second stanza. In the 57th inute, Aidan Sheehan lofted a free kick from about 40 yards out to the back post where Konrad Krysztoforski was was there. He leapt high enough to connect with the rock in time to head it into the lower right corner to give the Gulls a 1-0 advantage.
  • Just under 20 minutes later, Sheehan put on his director boot once again as he received a feed from Tyler Walser in transition on the right wing and found an uncovered Fisher Mills near the penalty area for another header goal that doubled the distance.
  • The Rams were unable to get a chance on target throughout the entire second stanza to keep the outcome in Endicott's favor.

  • Nathan Harlow had one save in the setback.
  • Brady O'Toole also had one save to his credit.

  • The Rams 10 shots were spread out over six pairs of boots with just two players – Francisco Valck (3) and Diego Pieranzotti (2) responsible for multiple shots each.
