BOSTON – Suffolk men's soccer will close out the RamFest doubleheader and celebrate Senior Day when the Rams host Curry in a Conference of New England (CNE) showdown Saturday, Sept. 27 at James A. Sartori Stadium at East Boston Memorial Park at 3p.m.

RAMFEST
All members of Ram Nation are invited by Suffolk University to East Boston Memorial Park Saturday, Sept. 27 for RamFest. 

RamFest is part of Suffolk Weekend, which brings together the entire University community. The weekend is the perfect opportunity for members of the Suffolk community and their families to reconnect or get acclimated with Suffolk, reminisce with old friends, make new ones and enjoy beautiful Boston in the fall. Following Rammy's Fun Run, the family friendly fan fest festivities begin at 11:30 a.m. An afternoon of community, entertainment and school spirit is in store. Event highlights include: 

  • A variety of food trucks with local favorites
  • Live performances by Suffolk University's house band The Common
  • Men's and Women's Soccer Games – support the Rams on their Senior Days! 
  • Cornhole Tournament – register with a teammate to or get paired day-of 
  • Axe Throwing and Gladiator Joust for some friendly competition
  • Yard games and airbrush pennants to round out the fun

Tickets are required to participate in RamFest and grants you access to food trucks and activities at the fields throughout the afternoon. Alumni, family and friends can purchase their $20 tickets here. Students are free but must register hereAdmission to the Rams' soccer Conference of New England (CNE) doubleheader versus Curry is free.

LAST TIME OUT
Suffolk men's soccer used a pair of late goals from Mohamed Mehaya to stage a comeback, as the freshman's brace lifted the Rams to a 2-1 victory over MIT Wednesday night at Roberts Field.

RAMS RUNDOWN

  • Suffolk enters the weekend at 4-2-2 following a win on the road at MIT on Wednesday.
  • The Rams sit 1-1-0 in CNE contests after defeating Hartford, 2-0, and falling to Endicott, 2-0. 
  • The Rams offense is led by the presence of Mohamed Mehaya, who has contributed five goals, including two game winners, and two assists.
  • Zach Vlachos has made a key impact with two strikes and one helper, while Christian Gardner stabilizes the midfield with a team-high three handouts.
  • Goalkeeping duties have been shared effectively between sophomore Ian Caldwell (5 GP, 1.20 GAA, .667 save%) and junior Nathan Harlow (3 GP, 0.67 GAA, .833 save %).

  • Curry travels to Suffolk at 2-2-5 coming off a 1-0 victory over Framingham State on Wednesday evening.
  • In CNE contests, Curry is 0-2-0 on the season after it fell to Gordon (2-0) and Wentworth (3-1). 
  • The Colonels offense is led by Kaden Puglia's 11 points behind five goals and one assist. 
  • Aiden Watts has provided additional production with four goals, good for eight points.
  • Aidan Auclair adds depth to the attack with a pair of strikes.
  • Ryan McGourty has logged most of the minutes in net. He holds a .617 save percentage and a 3.6 goals against average.

  • Suffolk and Curry will meet for the ninth time since the 2002 season.
