Men’s Soccer Moves Up to Fourth in Region II in United Soccer Coaches Rankings

United Soccer Coaches Release

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Hours away from its 2025 regular-season finale, Suffolk men's soccer claimed the fourth spot in Region II in the United Soccer Coaches regional poll, released by the national organization Tuesday afternoon.

Suffolk is unbeaten in its last four games (3-0-1) and has won eight of its last 10 to sit at 11-3-3 on the season, the most victories since matching that triumph total in 2010 (11-8-1). The blue-and-gold has assembled a 6-2-1 league ledger, which ties a program-mark for conference wins in the CNE era with last season's squad (6-1-2).

The Rams are one of two CNE teams featured in Region II's Top-8 as Roger Williams landed one spot ahead of Suffolk in third.

Bill Maddock's squad has secured a spot in the regional poll since 2024's fifth poll Oct. 9, 2024.

Suffolk, who currently in a two-way tie for second place in the CNE standings, has its sights set on tonight's showdown with Nichols as playoff implications are on the line at East Boston Memorial Park's James A. Sartori Stadium at 7 p.m.
