Yany to Captain Men’s Tennis in 2026

BOSTON – Suffolk men's tennis will be led by senior captain Jason Yany, head coach Scott Blanchard unveiled.

Yany, the lone returning senior on the squad, looks to guide the blue-and-gold into its 12-match 2026 campaign. The team has had a single captain every year dating back to 2022. Yany will begin his first year in the role.

A year ago, the Pawtucket, Rhode Island product, competed in the three through five single slots over seven matches and had three double teammates, all that competed on courts two or three.

Yany is one of the most experienced players on the 11-player roster that features five returners and six newcomers.

Suffolk's 2026 slate is set to get underway at Western New England Saturday, March 14.
