Suffolk men's tennis fell in and first and only non-conference match of the 2026 season to Rhode Island College, 6-1, Thursday afternoon at the RIC Tennis Complex.

• Suffolk holds a 3-8 overall record after falling to Rhode Island College, 6-1, Thursday.
• In CNE contests, the Rams are 3-7. 
• Christian Gardner is 7-1 on the year with a 5-1 ledger as the blue-and-gold ace. 
• Abhi Patel (2-7), Gabriel Soave (2-7) and Jason Yany (3-8) have produced multiple singles wins as well. 
• In doubles, the twosome of Gardner and Patel are usually the top tandem. That pair holds a 3-2 mark.  

FIGHTING SCOTS FACTS

• Gordon fell to Roger Williams, 5-2, Tuesday to bring a 9-9 overall mark and 6-4 league ledger into Saturday's outing. 
• Jeffrey Bodner has played every match as the Fighting Scots No. 1. He is the winningest singles player at 13-5.
• Gabriel Guzman has surpassed double-digit wins as well at 11-7 exclusively on the third court. 
• James Wellborn is also 11-7 with time spent in the fourth (0-1) and fifth (11-6) slots. 
• Bodner has combined forces with Santiago Diaz to make up the No. 1 doubles team. That duo is 13-4.
