BOSTON – Suffolk men's indoor track & field traveled across town Saturday to compete at Boston University's John Thomas Terrier Classic. The Rams were led by a standout performance from Michael Nossek, who set a new school record in the 200.
RAMS RUNNERS
- Tighe Hosman powered through the 60-meter hurdles to finish fifth with a time of 8.94.
- In the 200, Nossek broke the Suffolk school record with a time of 21.99, earning a 13th place finish.
- Mohamed Mehaya and Will Manix battled side-by-side in the 400-meter open, with Mehaya crossing first in 50.94 and Manix close behind at 51.08.
JUMPERS JIST
- Joshua Catino soared to a mark of 3.70 meters in the pole vault, centimeters away from a program-best.
RAMS RECORDS
- Nossek set a new Suffolk record in the 200 meters with a personal-best 21.99 finish.
- Catino added a personal-best in the pole vault at 3.70 meters and was five centimeters from a school record.

Suffolk will return to action next weekend at the River Hawk Invitational, hosted by UMass Lowell at the Track at New Balance in Boston Feb. 6-7.
