BOSTON – Suffolk men's indoor track & field had a handful of Rams head across town to Boston University's David Hemery Valentine Invite Friday, Feb. 13.
RAMS RECORDS
- A pair of personal records were set and another was tied.
- Will Manix (50.80) and Emmett St. Pierre (52.05) both clocked career-highs in the 400.
- Connor Johnson matched his personal-best of 23.94 in the 200.
RAMS RUNNERS
- Michael Nossek sprinted to 17th in the 60 with a time of 7.13.
- Charlie Billard (23.46), Manix (23.51) and Johnson (23.94) represented the blue-and-gold in the 200.
- Manix (50.80), Mohamed Mehaya (50.92) and St. Pierre (52.05) made one lap around the track in the 400. Both Manix and Mehaya finished in the top 100 in 78th and 81st, while St. Pierre was just outside in 105th.
HAVE TO KNOW 'BOUT THE HURDLERS
- Tighe Hosman compiled an 8.92 in the 60 hurdles, good for 17th.
POLE VAULT POINT OF VIEW
- Joshua Catino cleared 3.55 meters in the pole vault.
YOU'RE NEW HERE
- Manix made his collegiate debut in the 200.
