Men’s Outdoor Track & Field’s 800 Ranked Second in East
Suffolk men’s outdoor track & field has emerged in the U.S. Track & Field Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) event rankings in the 800, both regionally and nationally, the organization announced.

NEW ORLEANS – Suffolk men's outdoor track & field has emerged in the U.S. Track & Field Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) event rankings in the 800, both regionally and nationally, the organization announced.
Ranks are determined by the top three athletes in each event from each team. The blue-and-gold's 800 trio of Tim Barry, Luke Sikora and Kely Maloney have combined for the 28th-best in the country and second-best in the east region. That threesome, along with Evan Wright and Selvin Backert make-up the top-five runners in the event in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) this season.
Suffolk will be back in action this weekend at the Jim Sheehan Invitational at Fitchburg State.
