Four members of the Suffolk cross country programs raced their way to All-GNAC honors Saturday afternoon at the conference championships, highlighted by freshman’s Emily Manfra Rookie of the Year accolade.
The Suffolk men’s and women’s cross country teams each took sixth place in their respective heats of the GNAC Championships at Franklin Park Saturday afternoon.
The GNAC Cross Country Championship Crowns are up for grabs Saturday, Oct. 29 as Suffolk and its conference counterparts take the course at Franklin Park. The women’s 5k heat is set for a 1 p.m. start with the men scheduled for a 2 p.m. 8k. Emmanuel, Lasell and Simmons are sharing hosting responsibilities of the championship.

For the first time this season and since 2008, a Suffolk men’s cross country runner finished the 8k course in a sub-30:00.0 time as David Campisano led the Rams at the Codfish Bowl Saturday morning at Franklin Park.
