BOSTON – Suffolk softball has two doubleheaders in store this weekend as it is set to face Nichols and Wentworth. The Rams will host the Bison Friday, April 25 at 2:30 p.m. at Briggs Field in Cambridge, Massachusetts, before they visit the Leopards Sunday, April 27 at 1:00 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
Thanks to a three-run bomb by Ava Brandow in the first, Suffolk softball used that early lead for momentum to take down Hartford, 8-2, in game two of a Conference of New England twinbill Wednesday.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk has split its last three doubleheaders to bring a 13-14 overall record and 7-4 CNE mark into the weekend.  

Catherine Carignan (33 H, 12 RBI, 18 R) and Julia Mills (30 H, 15 RBI, 14 R) are the top two bats, while Lily Gustafson (25 H, 7 RBI, 15 R), Ava Brandow (23 H, 10 RBI, 11 R), Lily Newhall (23 H, 11 RBI, 13 RBI) have all supplied 20-plus hits. 

Newhall (81.2 IP, 3.26 ERA, 38 K) and Cynthia Rucinski (70.0 IP, 3.60 ERA, 42 K) are the go-to twirlers for the blue-and-gold. Ella Turnbull has assembled a 0.55 ERA through 12.2 innings with 11 strikeouts.  

BISON BREAKDOWN
Nichols has won three games in a row to hold a 25-9 overall record. In CNE action, the Bison are 10-4. 

Ava Slavnisky has produced 50 hits, 15 RBI and 15 runs scored. Allie Silliman holds 43 hits, 19 RBI and 24 runs scored. Chloe Steiniger (34 H, 18 RBI, 25 R), Riley Chartier (30 H, 10 RBI, 15 R) and Riley Chartier (30 H, 10 RBI, 15 R) have all supplied 30-plus hits to Nichols' 154-run offense.  

Chelsea Indyk is the Bison's ace with a 1.65 ERA over 131.1 innings with 110 strikeouts. Molly Medor (74.2 IP, 3.28 ERA, 53 K) and Ally McNamee (31.2 IP, 4.42 ERA, 15 K) have both seen time in the circle for Nichols.

LEOPARDS LOOK
Wentworth split its doubleheader with Framingham State Thursday to hold a 16-18 overall record. In CNE play, the Leopards are 5-7.  

Lexi Lefkowski (42 H, 22 RBI, 29 R) and Katelin Howe (41 H, 4 RBI, 29 R) have been the most productive bats for the Leopards. Kyle Igawa (36 H, 21 RBI, 16 R) and Jess Rowe (30 H, 31 RBI, 18 R), meanwhile, have supplied 30-plus hits. 

The trio of Julia Malowitz (80.1 IP, 4.27 ERA, 45 K), Julie Schriver (66.1 IP, 4.64 ERA, 40 K) and Jess Rowe (59.1 IP, 2.83 ERA, 45 K) cycle through starts for WIT. 

INSIDE THE SERIES
