LOUISVILLE, Ky. – For the third consecutive campaign, Suffolk softball had a bakers' dozen Rams receive Easton/National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-America Scholar-Athlete honors, the national organization unveiled.
The 13 Rams were among the over 9,000 collegiate student-athletes across seven membership divisions to achieve a 3.5 grade point average or higher in 2024-25.
Suffolk has seen a program record-tying 13 honorees over the last three seasons. Overall, 51 Suffolk student-athletes have combined for 106 NFCA Scholar-Athlete awards since the blue-and-gold has seen an individual recognized with the feat since 2013-14.
The 13 Rams hail from every academic class. Seniors Julia Newcomb and Diana Rucinski have received the recognition in each of their collegiate seasons with their fourth nods. Their classmates, Ashlyn Conley and Ella Turnbull, meanwhile, scooped up the accolade for the third time. Senior Lily Gustafson, junior Catherine Carignan, sophomores Julia Mills and Sara Butera were repeat honorees, while Giavanna Bellino, Avery Carvalho, Delaney Doidge, Gianna Missiti and Jolie Quintana took home the award for the first time.
