BOSTON – Suffolk softball is set for a full weekend with a pair of Conference of New England doubleheaders in store against Wentworth and Endicott. The Rams will host the Leopards Saturday, April 25 at Griswold Park in Revere, Massachusetts, before heading up Route 1 for a Sunday, April 26 showdown in Beverly, Massachusetts versus the Gulls. Both battles have a 12:00 p.m. start.

Suffolk softball's bats came alive in game two at D. Forbes Will Field as the Rams ran past Curry, 10-1, to split the Conference of New England (CNE) twin bill Tuesday afternoon.

RAMS RUNDOWN
- Suffolk splits its twin bill at Curry Tuesday to enter the weekend 16-15 overall and .500 (7-7) in CNE contests.
- Three different bats have contributed 30-plus hits in Ava Lanza (35 hits, 15 RBI, 19 runs), Jolie Quintana (32 hits, 8 RBI, 18 runs) and Julia Mills (31 hits, 20 RBI, 21 runs).
- Catherine Carignan is on the verge of 30 hits as well with 29 to her credit. The senior is responsible for a team-best 28 RBI to go along with 14 runs scored.
- Cynthia Rucinski (117.1 IP, 99 K, 3.76 ERA) and Lily Newhall (89.2 IP, 46 K, 3.43 ERA) have split time in the circle for the blue-and-gold.
LEOPARDS LOOK
- Wentworth holds a 10-23 overall mark and 6-8 CNE record. Prior to facing Suffolk Saturday, the Leopards will entertain Gordon Friday.
- Lauren Trostel has been the most powerful and productive bat for WIT with 39 hits, including 20 for extra bases, behind a .386 average with a team-best 23 RBI to her credit to go along with 20 runs scored.
- Quincy Bolduc (30 hits, 5 RBI, 11 runs) and Kyla Igawa (34 hits, 15 RBI, 13 runs) have supplied 30-plus hits to the Leopards' 240-hit, 116-run offense.
- Pitching wise, WIT has half a dozen options with Julia Malowitz (4.53 ERA, 68.0 IP, 30 K) and Julie Schriver (4.82 ERA, 81.1 IP, 56 K) the usual starters.
