The Suffolk University Women's Basketball team (12-5, 5-1) used an impressive defensive performance to top the Norwich University Cadets (6-11, 1-5 GNAC) 53-26 on Saturday afternoon in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) competition.
The Rams limited the Cadets to just eight field goals in the contest to pick up win number 12 on the season as they improve to a 5-1 mark in GNAC play.
Sophomore Jennifer Ruys (Wallingford, Conn.) collected a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds and had four blocked shots in the game, while junior Jacqueline Vienneau (Salem, N.H.) scored a game-high 15 points to go along with five assists and five rebounds in the Rams win.
Suffolk will be back in action on Thursday evening as they host Albertus Magnus College in GNAC action at 7:00pm at the Regan Gymnasium.
