BOSTON – In a game that featured five lead changes, three of which came in the fourth quarter, Jordan Moreau came up clutch for Suffolk women's basketball as she swished a pair of freebies with 1.7 seconds left in regulation to send the Rams to their fifth straight win, a 67-66 victory over Coast Guard Thursday night at Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Suffolk took a 10-4 lead early and built a comfortable 21-14 margin after the first 10 minutes.
- The offensive output in the second stanza was identical to the first, which sent the Rams into the locker room up 14, 42-28.
- The Bears battled back in the third as they outscored the host 17-7 to trim the gap to four, 49-45.
- See-saw action allowed Coast Guard to catch up and lock the action at 53-all with 7:10 on the clock in the fourth.
- From there, the playing field would lock once more and the lead swapped three times with the visitors taking the upperhand, 64-61, with 1:34 to go.
- The margin was trimmed to one after Tatiana Tune converted a layup and remained at a one-point gap, 66-65, with 35 seconds left.
- A turnover by Coast Guard gave the Rams the ball back at the 20-second mark and Suffolk had a shot to win it when Olivia Verdile put up a layup. The attempt was off the mark, but the blue-and-gold would get one more opportunity as it gained a team rebound out of bounds.
- Moreau was sent on the foul line after she was fouled on the inbound pass. Composure paid off as she sunk the game-tying free throw before she put the hero cape on made the game-winning shot.
STATISTICALLY SPEAKING
- Allison Bono produced 18 points on a 9-for-17 performance from the floor with five boards, five assists and one steal.
- Moreau finished with 14 points, four caroms and two helpers.
- Tune tallied 12 points on a 6-for-8 day from the field to go along with eight rebounds, two dimes and two takeaways.
- Verdile contributed 11 points, five rebounds and three handouts.
- Ariana Ingram added eight points, seven boards, two assists and one steal.
- Suffolk did not miss at the foul line, 5-5.
- The Rams outrebounded the Bears, 44-38.
- The blue-and-gold converted its 16 offensive boards into 17 second-chance points.
