Bono Selected All-CNE Third-Team

CNE RELEASE

BEVERLY, Mass. – Suffolk women's basketball's Allison Bono earned a spot on the Conference of New England's Third-Team, the league office announced Tuesday morning.

The recognition comes on the heels of the junior's standout season. The Chester, New York native led the way for the Rams offensively with 13.2 points per outing behind a 47.3 conversion rate from the floor. She compiled 16 games in double figures in points, including a pair of 20-plus point performance highlighted by a career-high 26-point effort Endicott Jan. 17, 2026.

To go along with her offensive output, that also featured a team-best 2.7 assists per game, the 5-foot-8 guard pulled down 7.8 rebounds per outing, which also sat atop the squad's numbers. There were eight games that she grabbed 10 or more boards, which resulted in five double-double performances.

Despite Bono's best efforts, Suffolk missed the CNE postseason with a 6-10 mark against conference counterparts to finish the year 12-13 overall.

In addition to Bono's recognition, junior Delaney More, who also competes for the Rams' women's volleyball team, was awarded a spot on the CNE Community Service Team, which recognizes student-athletes on every member institution squad that demonstrates a commitment to their community.

Both Bono and More will graduate a year early with degrees in psychology and biology, respectively.

In five seasons in the CNE (formerly CCC), Suffolk has taken home 11 conference awards including one player of the year, two defensive players of the year, four first-team selections, one second-team honor and three third-team nods. Overall, the Rams' trophy case features 44 all-conference awards, 34 of which were handed out during Suffolk's tenure in the GNAC (1996-2020) including two rookie of the year, 11 first-team, nine second-team and 13 third-team selections.
