BOSTON – Suffolk women's golf takes its talents to Cortland, New York, this weekend, April 12-13, for the Cortland Martin/Wallace Invitational at the Cortland Country Club.

Suffolk women's golf got its 2025 spring slate underway with a sixth-place performance at the Third Camp Lejeune Intercollegiate Golf Championship over the weekend at the Paradise Point Golf Course.

THE FIELD
Eleven teams will be represented on the Cortland Country Club course including the host SUNY Cortland and Suffolk. Husson, Ithaca, Nazareth, St. John Fisher, St. Lawrence, SUNY Canton, SUNY Cortland, Union, Utica and William will have student-athletes competing as well.
CORTLAND COUNTRY CLUB
The Cortland Club is a par 72 course on meticulously groomed greens and fairways, bunkers on 17 holes and championship tee boxes to challenge golfers of any skill level.

SUFFOLK AT THE CORTLAND MARTIN/WALLACE INVITATIONAL
Suffolk has competed at the Cortland Martin/Wallace Invitational of the last two seasons.
In 2023, the Rams won the Martin Division at the two-day event hosted by SUNY Cortland behind Ellie Yarbrough's runner-up finish with a 163.
Last season, the team finished eighth after having Saturday's action cancelled due to weather. Isabel Smith highlighted the Rams on the course with a 79.
Brooke Bugajewski (88) and Ella Torsleff (92) have both competed on the course before for Suffolk.
The 18-hole low for a Ram on the course in Empire State was a 79 shot by Smith on Sunday of the 2024 event.
