Women’s Golf Finishes Fourth at Hartford/Trinity Invitational
Suffolk women’s golf turned in a fourth-place finish at the Hartford/Trinity Invitational April 18-19 at the Rockledge Golf Club.
WEST HARTFORD, Conn. – Suffolk women's golf turned in a fourth-place finish at the Hartford/Trinity Invitational April 18-19 at the Rockledge Golf Club.
The Rams posted a two-round total of +145 to place behind Trinity (CT) (+74), Bentley (+110) and Hartford (+125), while finishing ahead of Husson (+155), Assumption (+213) and Rhode Island College (+439).
Krisna Mahendran paced Suffolk with a two-round total of 173 (+29) to finish tied for 10th overall. Mahendran opened with an 87 (+15) and followed with an 86 (+14) in round two.
Brooke Bugajewski turned in a 180 (+36) to place 16th after rounds of 91 (+19) and 89 (+17).
Emory Goodson finished tied for 20th at 183 (+39), carding rounds of 94 (+22) and 89 (+17).
Lauren Phelan rounded out Suffolk's scoring with a 185 (+41) to place tied for 24th, shooting rounds of 96 (+24) and 89 (+17).
Suffolk returns to action Saturday, April 25 at the Gordon Shootout, hosted at Wenham Country Club in Wenham, Massachusetts.
