EAST BOSTON – Suffolk women's lacrosse dropped its first Conference of New England (CNE) contest of the season Wednesday night as Endicott flew by the Rams, 17-5, at James A. Sartori Stadium at East Boston Memorial Park.

HOW IIT HAPPENED
- Endicott poured in six unanswered in the first before Bridget O'Leary put away a goal with no help to break up the shutout with 1:04 left in the first to up the Rams on the board.
- More straight strikes off the Gulls sticks started the second stanza. This time the visitors put away four consecutive to lengthen their lead to 10-1. Jessie Le broke up the Endicott scoring show with a man-up tally to send Suffolk into the locker room down 10-2.
- In the third, the teams traded goals with Zoe Peckham and Le responsible for the blue-and-gold's pair. Endicott then rattled off three in a row to make it running clock with a 10-goal, 14-4 margin.
- Peckham opened the scoring in the fourth thanks to help from O'Leary, but Endicott controlled the pace of play the rest of the way and found the back of the net three more times for the 17-5 final.
GOALIE GLANCE
- Charlotte Guziejka registered nine saves.
- Severine Michel logged five stops for Endicott.
STATISTICALLY SPEAKING
- Peckham and Le contributed two goals apiece. The former had one ground ball as well.
- O'Leary put together a one-goal, two-assist, one-ground ball, one-draw control performance.
- Kate Carlson recorded two ground balls, two caused turnovers and one draw control.
- Lauren Woods tallied two ground balls and caused one turnover.
- Penelope Lawlor registered two draw controls.
NOTEWORTHY
- Suffolk hosted Endicott for the first time.
- The Rams limited the Gulls to 17 goals, the fewest allowed to Endicott by Suffolk in a single game in program history.
- Suffolk scored five goals against Endicott for the second straight meeting and in as many tangles in program history.
- Peckham and O'Leary have produced a point in every game this season.
- Le stretched her goal streak to five games. In that span she has scored nine times.
