Women’s Lacrosse Trio Tabbed to IWLCA Academic Honor Roll
Three Rams receive IWLCA Academic Honor Roll spots
NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. – For the first time in program, Suffolk women's lacrosse saw individual student-athletes recognized for their academic efforts as Penelope Lawlor, Stella MacLelland and Bridget O'Leary grabbed spots on the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Academic Honor Roll, the organization unveiled Wednesday.
To be eligible for this distinction, student-athletes must be a junior, senior or graduate student and have earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater.
The IWLCA recognized 1,350 student-athletes from 174 different institutions including nine Conference of New England (CNE) programs were on the list. as Endicott (14), Johnson & Wales (4), Nichols (6), Roger Williams (3), Hartford (7), Wentworth (4), Western New England (4) and the University of New England (1) joined the Rams.
