Quincy, Mass. – The Suffolk University Women’s Soccer team opened the 2010 season with a   0-0 draw at Eastern Nazarene College on Saturday afternoon. Senior Emily Joyce (Easton, Mass.) made seven saves over 110 minute span to preserve the shutout.

Eastern Nazarene goalkeeper Lisa Clark stopped all four shots on goal she faced in the game as well.

Both teams had seven shots a piece, but neither team could put the ball in the net for the victory.

Freshman Gabrielle Balestrier (Mohnton, Penn.) led the Rams with two shots in the game.

Suffolk will be back in action on Wednesday afternoon as they travel to Nashua, N.H. to take on Daniel Webster College in non-league action beginning at 3:30pm.
