Suffolk women’s soccer played in front of its home crowd at James A. Sartori Stadium at East Boston Memorial Park for the first time in 2022 and Bridgewater State plundered the Rams’ home debut, 5-0, Tuesday night.
Suffolk women’s soccer is still in search for its first win of the Ellie McDougall era and looks to get the job done Saturday, Sept. 3 when it visits Framingham State for a 12 p.m. kick-off.
The Rams took to the field for the first time in the Ellie McDougall era and in 2022 and came out with high-intensity pressure that resulted in a number of quality offensive chances, but ultimately the Suffolk women’s soccer team settled for a scoreless draw against Elms at Leary Field Thursday night.
Suffolk women’s soccer first-year head coach Ellie McDougall hit the recruiting trail hard since being hired in February 2021 and brought in nine rookies to add more depth to the Rams’ 2022 squad.
