Women’s Soccer Fights to Scoreless Draw with UMass Boston
In its non-conference finale, Suffolk women’s soccer battled UMass Boston to a scoreless draw Tuesday night at James A. Sartori Stadium at East Boston Memorial Park. Sophia Barker had six saves in the second half off the bench for the Rams to preserve the tie.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Suffolk's lone chance in the first frame were denied by UMass Boston's starting keeper Julia Cote, while Arden Ferrari-Henry scooped up the Beacons only shot on target in the first half to keep things even at 0-0 at halftime.
UMB pressured Barker in net throughout the second stanza. The visitors put six shots on frame and the sophomore turned aside all of them to keep the Beacons silent.
One of Suffolk's best chances came with 1:55 left in regulation when Makena Columbus chipped a shot on target. Isabella O'Connell was there to stop the shot and force the non-conference clash to end with zeros on the board.
