COLLEGE SPORTS COMMUNICATORS RELEASE | CSC ACADEMIC ALL-DISTRICT 2025

BOSTON – Six Suffolk women's soccer student-athletes have earned College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors including seniors Lily GoldmannAngelina Giovanni and Daniela Petronio, juniors Isa Peraza and Avery Porter and sophomore Gabriella Duggan, the national organization unveiled Tuesday.

Presented by College Sports Communicators (CSC), formerly known as College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) to the most accomplished student-athletes for combined academic and athletic achievements each year since 1952, this is the longest-running and most prestigious academic and athletic award for student-athletes to receive.

All nominees must have a GPA of at least a 3.50 (on a 4.0 scale), be a starter or important reserve, and have competed in at least 90 percent of a team's competition.

In the Rams' women's soccer record books, there have been 24 academic all-district honorees with this year's six joining the ranks. Peraza and Porter are repeat honorees, while Goldmann, Giovanni, Duggan and Petronio earned the distinction of the first time in their collegiate careers.

Suffolk was joined by all its Conference of New England (CNE) counterparts – Curry (6), Endicott (6), Hartford (6), Gordon (6), Nichols (6), Roger Williams (1), University of New England (6), Wentworth (4) and Western New England (2) -- on the list that featured 1,650 NCAA Division III women's soccer student-athletes.

The group was crucial cogs to Suffolk's fifth-ever double-digit win season at 10-3-6, which featured a program-best 13 shutouts and the Rams' third-ever trip to the CNE postseason.

Porter continued her presence on the pitch as the defender, who boasts a 3.756 GPA as a biology major, earned an All-CNE First-Team nod as the cornerstone of Suffolk's back line. In addition to her team-leading defensive effort, the captain from Portland, Oregon contributed offensively as well with four goals and one assist.

Porter's co-captain, Peraza, holds a 3.613 GPA, while working towards her degree in political science with a concentration in American politics. Athletically, the junior Las Vegas, Nevada pitched in three goals, all game winners, and one assist to the Rams' 31-goal scoring unit.

The captain has moved onto the Academic All-America ballot, which will be voted on by CSC members this week. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced Tuesday, Dec. 16. She is one of 2 CNE student-athletes to be featured on the All-America ballot.

Goldmann, an interior design student-athlete that carries a 3.606 cumulative GPA, save her best for last athletically. The third-team all-league performer topped the team goals (9) and points (19).

Petronio, who calls Cheshire, Connecticut home, is working towards her undergraduate law degree with a 3.811. She joined Goldmann on the conference's third-team thanks to 14-point stat line that featured six goals and two handouts.

Duggan, a sophomore from San Diego, California, sports a perfect 4.00 GPA in the classroom as a business analytics and information systems major. Athletically, the defender appeared in 17 games, started 14 and supplied one assist.

Giovanni rounds out the group as the marketing major holds a 3.717 GPA. The forward that calls Sterling, Connecticut home, compiled a one-goal, two-assist stat line over 19 appearances, 16 starts.
