Goldmann Selected to NEWISA Senior Bowl All-Star Game

BOSTON – Suffolk women's soccer's Lily Goldmann will don the blue-and-gold one last time as the Ram was selected to the New England Women's Intercollegiate Soccer Association (NEWISA) Senior Bowl All-Star Game, the organization announced.

The game, presented by the Boston Dream Soccer Association, is slated for Sunday, Dec. 7 at Suffolk's home pitch, James A. Sartori Stadium at East Boston Memorial Park at 11 a.m.

Goldmann was one of 28 Division III Players chosen and is one six representatives from the Conference of New England (CNE), joining Endicott's Rhiann Dugan and Hannah Lord, Hartford's Rebecca Oppenbrouw, Roger Williams' Coco Marrelli and University of New England's Karley Belisle. Her selection marks the first time a Ram has been chosen to compete in the NEWISA Senior Bowl.

This honor compliment's Goldmann's resume of a third-team All-CNE distinction this season following a senior campaign in which she paced Suffolk's 31-goal offense with 19 points behind a team-best nine goals, including one game-winner, and one assist.

The Plymouth, Massachusetts, native was instrumental to Suffolk's successful season in which the team posted its fifth-ever double-digit win season at 10-3-6 and shutout a program-best 13 opponents. In CNE play, the Rams went 4-3-3 to earn their place in the postseason for the first time since 2023.

In the league tournament, the sixth-seeded Rams upset third-seed Johnson & Wales, 2-1, in the first round, before playing second seed Endicott to a scoreless stalemate in the semis. Suffolk's season ended a penalty kick shy of the CNE Championship to the Gulls, 4-3.
