TEMPE, Ariz. – For the second straight season, Suffolk women's tennis was rewarded for its academic excellence as the Rams garnered Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic Team Distinction. In addition, sophomores Barbara Consales and Bianca Prescott were recognized individually as ITA Scholar-Athletes, the national organization announced.

To qualify as an ITA All-Academic Team, the student-athletes must maintain a cumulative team grade point average of 3.2 or above on a 4.0 scale, with each eligible player's cumulative grade point average accounted for in the calculation.

As a unit, the blue-and-gold posted a 3.559 GPA over 2020-21. The Rams were one of five Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) institutions recognized alongside Endicott, Nichols, Roger Williams and Western New England, who were apart of the 144 programs to be awarded the distinction.
