BOSTON – Suffolk women's tennis is primed for a 10-match 2021 schedule under the guidance of head coach Steve Counihan.
A three-match road trip pulls the curtain back on the action with stops at Bridgewater State (Sept. 9), St. Joseph (Conn.) (Sept. 11) and Salve Regina spans seven-day stretch the second week of September. The mid-week match against the Seahawks will begin a new era of Suffolk women's tennis as the start of Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) competition.
From there, the blue-and-gold begins its home slate in a Tuesday, Sept. 21 tilt against Western New England. The outing with the Golden Bears is a brief pit stop in Boston with the Rams heading back out on the road to wrap up September at Rhode Island College (Sept. 23), Endicott (Sept. 25) and Roger Williams (Sept. 29).
October action features a pair of home matches sandwiched around away action. Suffolk entertains Curry (Oct. 2) and Gordon (Oct. 9) on Saturday's with a trip to Nichols Tuesday, Oct. 5 breaking up the homestand.
