BRIGHTON, Mass. – Suffolk women's tennis fell to Simmons, 6-1, Tuesday afternoon at the Daly Field Athletic Complex.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Simmons swept doubles play in order to put the Rams in a 1-0 hole as the match transitioned to singles play. 
• The Sharks took singles courts two, three and six to clinch the match. 
• After the blue-and-gold's ace Thu Nguyen fell, Elizabeth Lassner broke up the shutout with a win in the fourth position. The freshman defeated Grace burke, 6-2, 6-4, on court four to put the Rams on the board. 
• Elene Nishnianidze fell to Laura Lowe, 6-4, 6-1, on court five for the 6-1 setback final.

• Suffolk and Simmons met for the 30th time.
