BOSTON – Suffolk women's tennis continues its season-opening road trip at Endicott Tuesday. The Rams begin their Conference of New England (CNE) slate against the Gulls at 3:30 p.m.

Suffolk women's tennis was kept off the scoreboard by Rhode Island College at the RIC Tennis Center Friday afternoon.

RAMS RUNDOWN

  • Suffolk is 0-3 on the year with losses to UMass Boston (7-0), Simmons (6-1) and Rhode Island College (7-0). 
  • Elizabeth Lassner has produced the Rams only point on the season with a 6-2, 6-4 win at fourth singles versus the Sharks. 
  • Thu Nguyen has played exclusively as the blue-and-gold's ace. 
  • Nia Bebb, who has played all three matches at the second singles spot (0-3), has been a staple as part of the Rams top tandems. She has combined forces with Nguyen (0-1) once and Elene Nishnianidze twice (0-2). 

CNE OPENERS

  • Suffolk is 0-4 in its first CNE contest of the season. 
  • The Rams have lifted their lid on their conference calendar on the road three times, including the last two seasons. 
  • Suffolk is 0-3 when the first CNE match of the year is played on the road. 
  • The Rams have played at home in the first CNE outing of the campaign, in 2022, against Endicott. 
  • The Rams have lifted the lid on their CNE scheduled on the road once, a year ago. Suffolk lost that outing, 9-0 at Gordon. 
  • Suffolk will meet Endicott in match one of the CNE campaign for the second time, first since 2022. 
  • The blue-and-gold has battled Gordon (0-2), Endicott (0-1) and Salve Regina (0-1) in the first CNE match of the campaign. 
  • The last three CNE openers have been sweeps. 
  • The last time Suffolk produced a point in a CNE opener was the inaugural CNE contest at Salve Regina Sept. 15, 2021. 

GET TO KNOW THE GULLS

  • Endicott is 0-1 on the year after it slipped to NCAA Division II's St. Michael's, 6-1. 
  • Nadia Uzelac earned the Gulls only point in match one with a 6-0, 6-3 singles win on the fifth singles court. 
  • Emily Leclerc and Jillian Friedman partnered as Endicott's No. 1 doubles team in the first match of the year. 
  • Leclerc served as the Gulls top singles racket, while Friemdman competed in the third singles position. 
  • Caroline Sutliffe rounded out the top half of the ladder in the second slot. 

INSIDE THE SERIES

  • The Suffolk, Endicott series dates back to 1994. 
  • The Rams are 3-10 versus the Gulls according to the record books, which are missing the 1995 campaign, as well as the 2002 season results. 
  • The Rams have fallen in six consecutive contests with Endicott with the last three being determined in shutouts.
  • Suffolk's last win over the Gulls came by a 7-2 margin Oct. 4, 2007. 
  • There have been four shutouts in the all-time series, the last four battles. 
  • Suffolk is 0-3 in CNE regular-season contests versus the Gulls.
