BIDDEFORD, Maine – Suffolk women's tennis dropped a 5-2 Conference of New England (CNE) contest to the University of New England Tuesday afternoon at the Blue Cyclone Complex.  

THE BASICS

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Nor'Easters locked up the first point of the match as they grabbed back-to-back victories at the first and third doubles. 

UNE went on to secure singles slots three, two and five in that order to turn on match point. 

Jaylin Hills defeated Zoe Lamber, 7-6 (7-4), 6-2, in the sixth singles spot to put the Rams on the board. 

The University of New England did allow the blue-and-gold to battle back as it went on to claim the match when Lassner fell to Alyssa Fristschka, 1-6, 6-3, 6-2 on court four. 

Thu Nguyen picked up a 6-4, 2-6, 7-5 victory over Madison Frank in the top position for the 5-2 final.
