Indoor Track & Field Starts 2026 at USM Open II

BOSTON – Suffolk men's and women's indoor track & field takes its talents to Gorham, Maine, Saturday, Jan. 10 to get its second semester underway at the USM Open II.

LAST TIME OUT [ MEN ] 
Suffolk men's indoor track & field opened the 2025-26 season at the Suffolk Relays, hosted at the Reggie Lewis Center on Saturday, Dec. 6. 

The Rams featured a mix of youth and experience, with several first-year making their collegiate debuts, while upper classmen turned in top finishes and set collegiate bests.

LAST TIME OUT [ WOMEN ] 
Suffolk women's track & field hosted the season-opening Suffolk Relays at the Reggie Lewis Center on Saturday, December 6. The Rams delivered strong performances across the board, highlighted by several top finishes and personal bests.

THE FIELD
Eight teams will join the blue-and-gold in Vacation Land in Bridgewater State, York County Community College, Maine Fort Kent, Emmanuel, Southern New Hampshire, Rhode Island College, Lasell and the host Southern Maine.

"This will be a very small meet to start the semester," head coach Will Feldman said. "This will also be the first competition for our pole vaulters this season, while the men's side looks forward to watch Michael Nossek and Mohamed Mehaya race each other in the 200m."
