Women’s Indoor Track & Field Jumps & Throws at Tufts Cupid Challenge 

MEDFORD, Mass. – Suffolk women's track & field was represented by a small contingent of competitors at Tufts Cupid Challenge Friday night at the Gantcher Field House. 

The trio of Dootchina DorielanEvelyn Lansing and Sasha Helfgott-Waters participated in the long jump. Dorielan's personal-best effort of 4.68 was good for fourth in the 17-jumper field. Three spots behind the junior was Lansing with a 4.64-meter leap. Helfgott-Waters, meanwhile, compiled a 4.03-meter effort. 

Hannah Laderoute heaved the weight throw 11.47 meters to take fifth in the featured Abby MacMillan as well. The freshman tossed the weight throw a personal-best 8.79 meters to finish 18th.  

Suffolk's squad will split up tomorrow. It will conclude action in Medford, Massachusetts, and send student-athletes to Boston University's David Hemery Valentine Invite as well.
