MEDFORD, Mass. – Suffolk women's track & field was represented by a handful of sprinters and a couple shot putters at Tufts Cupid Challenge at the Gantcher Field House Saturday.
Rhoni Johnson highlighted the blue-and-gold performances as she posted a personal-best in the 60 invite of 8.26, good for 14th. Bailey Stoddard-Baughman competed in the event as well and compiled a time of 8.58 to take 23rd.
Olivia Coyne (8.78), Dootchina Dorielan (8.92) and Aida Bellal (9.06), meanwhile, ran the same event in the open category.
Stoddard-Baughman took 15th in the 60 hurdles with a 10.00 performance.
Coyne made a half lap around the track in the 200 in 29.76.
Divinety Johnson led the Rams fielders with a sixth-place showing in the shot put with a 9.87-meter heave. Hannah Laderoute produced a 9.37-meter toss to finish five spots behind her teammate.
Suffolk sets its sights on Sunday, Feb. 22 where it will compete in the USATF New England Indoor Track & Field Championship at Harvard's Gordon Indoor Track.
