BOSTON – Suffolk women's indoor track & field was well-represented at Boston University's David Hemery Vlaentine Invite Saturday with nine Rams competing across seven events.
RAMS RECORDS
- JJ Conteh posted a personal-best 26.38 in the 200.
- Sofia Moukaddem (9:54.70) and Tess Drury (10:24.44) both logged career bests in the 3000.
RAMS RUNNERS
- Conteh was the runner-up in the 60 behind a 7.91 performance.
- Conteh's career-high 26.38 in the 200 was good for 60th. Hilma Ortega (27.45) and Kaylie Groom (27.76) made a half lap around the track as well.
- Groom clocked a 1:02.29 in the 400.
- Katelyn Porter and Amy Pattelena ran the 800 in 2:19.58 and 2:24.93, respectively.
- Moukaddem (9:54.70) and Drury (10:24.44) represented the Rams in the 3000.
HAVE TO KNOW 'BOUT THE HURDLERS
- Ortega secured sixth in the 60 hurdles with a time of 9.53.
JUMPERS JIST
- Averie Denelle produced a season-best 1.60 in the high jump.

Suffolk is set to compete at the USATF New England Indoor Track & Field Championship Sunday, Feb. 22 at Harvard.
