Women’s Indoor Track & Field Takes Part in David Hemery Valentine Invite

BOSTON – Suffolk women's indoor track & field was well-represented at Boston University's David Hemery Vlaentine Invite Saturday with nine Rams competing across seven events.

  • Conteh was the runner-up in the 60 behind a 7.91 performance.
  • Conteh's career-high 26.38 in the 200 was good for 60th. Hilma Ortega (27.45) and Kaylie Groom (27.76) made a half lap around the track as well. 
  • Groom clocked a 1:02.29 in the 400. 
  • Katelyn Porter and Amy Pattelena ran the 800 in 2:19.58 and 2:24.93, respectively. 
  • Moukaddem (9:54.70) and Drury (10:24.44) represented the Rams in the 3000. 

HAVE TO KNOW 'BOUT THE HURDLERS

  • Ortega secured sixth in the 60 hurdles with a time of 9.53.
