NEW LONDON, Conn. – Suffolk women's outdoor track & field had a two Rams participate over two events at the Silfen Invitational over the weekend. 

Sharaden Caldwell competed in both events that the blue-and-gold was represented. In the discus, she finished seventh in the field of 32 with a 28.89-meter heave. In the hammer, she captured a spot in the top-10 as her 34.61-meter throw was good for ninth. Emma Withers, meanwhile, was two places ahead of Caldwell in the hammer in seventh thanks to a 35.37-meter effort.

Suffolk is back in action next weekend at the Sean Collier Invitational at MIT.
