PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Amalia Dorion of the Suffolk women's outdoor track & field team represented the Rams at the Friar Invitational over the weekend. The graduate student competed in the mile at the Ray Tracy Track at Hendricken Field.
The blue-and-gold's long distance runner posted a5 5:02.65 in the mile, good for 17th in the 51-runner field. She was the best NCAA Division III competitor in the event, upstaging MIT's Rujuta Sane, who crossed the tape in 5:10.46.
Dorion and Suffolk are scheduled to be back in action at MIT's Sean Collier Invitational April 18-19.
