GENEVA, Ohio – Amalia Dorion of the Suffolk women's outdoor track & field team wrapped up her 2024-25 campaign at the 2025 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio.
Dorion, a graduate student from El Paso, Texas, was the third-ever Ram, second female, to compete at the national level. She raced the 1500 and clocked a 4:37.82, good for 17th in the field of 22, just two seconds shy of All-America status.
When she laced up her spikes in the Buckeye State she completed the trifecta of competing in three national championships – cross country, indoor and outdoor track & field – in one calendar year. She is the third-ever Ram to do so as she joined Matyas Csiki-Fejer and Emily Manfra, who accomplished the feat in 2021-22 and 2018-19, respectively.
